It’s one of the first cold nights here in Oakland this fall/winter and I’m making a mini feast for my roomate and I. I’m making a watercress and mixed green salad with a sweet lime vinagarette with roasted beets, red carrots, parsnip and figs with chevre, and sweet potato croquettes with fennel, anise, shallot, garlic, onion and tarragon with an avocado sauce.
