About
I Love You More Than Food is a collection of original recipes and culinary stories, written by an ex-San Franciscan who attended culinary school at Apicius in Florence, Italy, and now lives in Spain.
These recipes are designed for two or more — perfect for an intimate dinner or a small gathering. The focus is on Italian food, seasonal ingredients, culinary history, and wholesome, organic cooking. Every recipe here is original, tested, and written with the belief that cooking is as much about the story as it is about the plate.
From Mediterranean seafood to handmade pasta, from farmers' market salads to slow-braised meats, these dishes celebrate the ingredients and traditions of Italy and the Mediterranean. The writing blends food memoir with practical cooking — the kind of recipes you'd find in a well-loved cookbook with notes in the margins.
This site is an archive of posts originally published between 2008 and 2013. While no new posts are being added, every recipe here remains as relevant and delicious as the day it was written.
